Can I just say I fell in love with New York City.
I had no idea that this little business trip of Mac’s was going to be a game changer for me. I have never felt like a city girl. I grew up in tiny Draper, UT – the so called “egg basket” of Utah. Draper was basically a chicken farm valley for the first 10 years of my life with tractors driving down the road. After high school, I spent 3-ish years in downtown Salt Lake City while attending the University of Utah. Definitely felt like a grown up business lady working in a law firm to pay for university tuition. Pretending to not be terrified of the busy streets and crazzzies of SLC………I have just always enjoyed the lovely-ness (if that’s even a word) of what a small, full of trees, type town includes.
Well the big city opened its ginormous arms and wrapped me up! After a interesting to say the least fight, we made it to NYC!
Some more 411 headed your way; my mama, Lorie Jean, is a flight attendant and has been for the last 10+ years. One of the many perks of being her kid is getting free flights. I have been beyond blessed with being able to travel all over and I must stay this trip is in my top 3 for sure!!!
So long NYC we loved you!
